Introduction to Letterpress

*max 4 participants, minimum of 2*
All classes are 1 - 5 pm

This 4 hour workshop is a basic introduction to letterpress printing. Participants will get an overview of the different types of presses used for letterpress printing and dabble in the craft of letterpress printing. We will use vintage metal and wood type and vintage cuts (images) from my collection to create a simple form (a phrase, short quote, etc.). You will then be guided in printing your form on either a flatbed press or a platen press.

This workshop is great if you are curious about letterpress or are not sure if getting really into letterpress printing is for you!
